Facilities - Nature Center

Our nature program has long been both vital and popular here at Camp Olson. One of our greatest assets as a Camp is our 1200+ acres of lakes, forests and fields that are for the most part wild and untrampled since early logging days. It is time we have a center devoted to that end!

The Homestead barn has been moved into the main camp to serve as our new nature center. It was moved into the woods near the pasture and athletic field. This new home will allow us to continue to enhance our Nature Program in many ways with the added space and the addition of professional displays.

The two levels of the homestead barn will create a nature center three times the size of the existing space located in the dining hall. A wrap around deck with covered porch, fireplace and windows will be added. To see a slideshow of the move, please click the link below the pictures.
